Samish Bay Cheese
The Brief
Samish Bay Cheese is a small family owned farm serving certified organic cheese, yogurt and labneh. They do this by farming about 200 acres in the northwest corner of Skagit County, Washington. Within their shop, they also sell beef, pork and veal from their farm, as well as a host of local artisan goods.
The Solution
For this project, I was tasked with redesigning the company's original logo and creating a new and refreshed look. As a small business, I wanted to emphasize the homeliness and warmth shown within their community forward mission. I also wanted the longstanding history of the farm to shine, so I utilized a roughened edge and serifed typeface to give the brand a more aged and longstanding image.
